Yup. WORLD WITHOUT END hasn't shown since 1977 at the 'thon! Back in the early 80s, we tracked down a print - but, it was Pan & Scan (and, likely, 16mm although the guage didn't stop us in the Orson Welles days) - so, it wasn't booked. This showing is via our friends at the Warner Archive.

is this the one where rod taylor was testing to see if a girl in the movie was hiding the fact that she understood english and he said in her presence "her legs are chubby" and she blurts out "my legs are not chubby" thus revealing that she did speak english. i could swear that i saw this at tthe maraton within the last 20 years.

An exact quote. I know this because World was shown at the CWRU/Cleveland marathon this year. It is also listed for the upcoming Columbus Marathon. That's three for three. Is Warner Archive having a fire sale? Or perhaps there is another print out there? The CWRU projection was okay although the colors were a little washed out.

In this case, coincidence. The Boston SF Marathon has a relationship with Warner Archive, yes. But, no 'fire sale'. It's just a title they recently restored and that hasn't been show in 41 years! Ohio is doing a Time Travel theme, so it fits.
