  •      Bloody loved running Paul for this crowd.  If ever there was a movie tailor-made for this group of crazies, it's Paul.  We ought to play this every other year.  Everybody got every joke, even the really obscure ones.

Gotta agree about PAUL, I haven't seen a marathon crowd show such a united reaction since Iron Giant at The Coolidge.
Paul is definitely a film to repeat at a future thon.
Come to think of it, so's Iron Giant.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

One thing THIS year's lineup has over the past couple is the de-emphasis on Horror films. No Cronenberg (so far) and no Gothic terror films. I love ISLAND OF LOST SOULS and FRANKENSTEIN, but, you didn't need both in the same lineup - not to mention RE-ANIMATOR and, yes, a third Cronenberg in as many marathons (SCANNERS).

Do we ever dare again show something as exotic as ENDHIRAN THE ROBOT?

One of the most bizarre Marathon highlights for me (just wish it had been about 40% shorter).

    And those crazy subtitled lyrics!

I wish the volume had been turned down 40%.

If you turned down the volume that much, you would have missed this most exquisite line of dialogue, "I am a 5 foot shrub, nibble on me like a goat!"

But, you gotta hear it too! Great beats. Hey, it was the songs that I enjoyed the most in ENDHIRAN. Well, other than Ms.Rai, natch......
