Wonderful to watch he had several tv SF credits including Outer Limits, Star Trek and Science Fiction Theater, Men Into Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Time Tunnel and Land of the Giants. He was also in the feature Cyborg 2087 (shown at the marathon many moons ago).
He also appeared in countless of tv shows both as hero and knave and starred in Tales of the 77th Bengal Lancers.

Doc Ostrow was the "Bones" of the trio of officers in Forbidden Planet.  With his passing, the last of the principals of this wonderful movie has passed away.  We still have Chief Quinn and Cookie but they were secondary characters.  We also have a few of the crewmen left as well but they are all aging.  My favorite science fiction film and one of my favorite movies period.  Godspeed Doc.

his twighlight zone appearance was a classic. he played a homeless man who transforms into "Spats" when he dons a pair of shoes from a dead gangster.
