Technically, there is no "soundtrack" for 2001. It was all existing music. Kubrick famously tossed out a score by the esteemed Alex North (SPARTACUS, EXODUS). But, you can hear some of it:

An animated tribute to the 75 year history of the worlds most famous alien. Guest starring Supergirl, The Legion of Super Pets, Doomsday, George & Christopher Reeve, Andy Warhol, Muhammad Ali and Giant Turtle Olsen!
Plus we finally find out what he was going to do with that car from Action #1.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

I love seeing costumers at the big cons.
I've  been to San Diego ComicCon a few times but I keep hearing that Dragon Con in Atlanta is even more insane.

And here's proof.

SYMMETRICS by Stan VanderBeek. It was made at what they called a 'room-sized' computer at MIT in 1972. Pretty cool. It played on TCM recently. VanderBeek is credited as a key influence on Terry Gilliam:

Continuing my request for some SF39 films I thought I'd gather up some trailers for them.

Thanks, I've always been a big fan of trailers.

I'd really like to get one of the documentaries for SF39, the Comic-Con one especially. That event has gotten so large that it's nice the way the film puts some faces to the fans who attend it.

In the meantime, here are another group of trailers for films I'm suggesting for SF39.

I don't think a trailer actually exists for this film.

In SOUND 360!

And geez, here's the promo film I made for Sack Theaters when I was working at the old Saxon. Wink

A couple of trailers for superhero films.
One never made and maybe that's for the best.

It reached its Kickstarter goal easily.

The other is a film made and never seen, except by just about every comic book fan who owns probably the most bootlegged film ever.

Is your idea of a prank turning your coworkers' monitor displays upside down or filling their cubicles up with packing peanuts?
Bush League --Pranksters in Japan have raised the bar:

The above video reminds me that there haven't been any Asian films announced for either the Festival or Marathon as of yet. Is it time to start playing the guessing game for the remaining two, three or four slots?
