ok. thus far i have seen: old, jungle cruise, black widow and stillwater at the discount movie house. each was first run and cost me 6 bucks and none of them sucked. this NEVER happened before covid. what the hell is going on here? this is some kind of sea change involving theater revenue versus streaming revenue and or theaters going out of business or what the futt i don't know. none of them is a runaway hit. free guy is next and it is with ryan reynolds who is a hot property as they say.
i would say that stillwater is a must see for all you trump haters because matt damon does a super job of giving a fair handed portrayal of red neck trumpish guy and captures an individuals complexity brilliantly and builds bridges and all the supporting roles are crafted into the story and those of you who will surely still say that such a man is not what we want picking our leadership then i say to you futt you you are the one who does not get it and you never will.

We really won't know how permanent some of these issues will be for another year or two
