Character actor Richard Kiel passed away on Sept 10th.
Best known for his role as the metal toothed giant assassin 'Jaws' in the James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me". His  villain character not only survived encounters with Bond but was popular enough to appear again and become reformed in the next film in the series "Moonraker".
He was well known to sci-fi TV fans as one of the Kanamit aliens in the classic Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man" and recurring villain Dr Loveless' assistant Voltaire in The Wild Wild West series.
Other movies he appeared in include The Human Duplicators, Phantom Planet and the title role in the schlock classic Eegah!

I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

Obviously, because of his physique, Kiel was destined to be up for only certain roles. Still, I always found him a likeable presence above and beyond that imposing look.

PHANTOM PLANET is his only Marathon appearance but it wouldn't shock me if "To Serve Man" didn't show up one day. The MST3K episodes of "EEGAH" and "THE HUMAN DUPLICATORS" are pretty funny, particularly the former.
