look here soon for a review of this movie by me. i feel like i was the target of targetted advertising for this movie. when i see snipers stationed in the torch of the statue of liberty, an american flag with the fifty stars replaced by two large white stars and a clip of the president who appears to be a possible parody of donald trump i say to myself "must see movie"
if this turns out to be a pre election fear mongering "republican authoritarians versus democrat libertarians" you can expect from me much more than my brief "it sucks" or "awesome" reviews. i might do 2 paragraphs. or one big paragraph and an aphorism epilogue.

vague?? a civil war without a clear demarcation of ideologies? that's a neat trick.

yes this was a movie that skirted the ideological division. somewhat cleverly they chose to have texas and california secede from the union. there cannot be 2 more ideologically opposed u.s. states. the void created by this was replaced with  president who did things that made him into a total A-Hole in the eyes of many americans. towit the rebels took washington by force and their primary objective was to execute the motherfutter. there was no clear reference to trump but those of you with tds would make the connection in a heartbeat.
there was ethnic violence. there was some indication of it being a 2 way street. and the biggest flaw in the movie is it's main theme: portaying journalism as an honorable profession.
