I was watching a Vice TV documentary on John Carpenter and director Eli Roth mentioned that he first saw the film Dark Star during a SF Marathon at the Orson Welles! I know the guy has a rep as being a bit of a meathead, but I thought it was cool anyway.

Dinner break? What's a dinner break?

That was SF/4 - he would have been about 9 years old!

i think it's played twice after that. once it was a vhs tape with an under powered projector. it was at the coolidge and the tape was rented from videosmith across the street. i still loved it.
