MARGOT KIDDER, Lois Lane in the Christopher Reeve SUPERMAN films has passed on. Kidder battled mental illness for years, so I was happy to see her a couple of years ago at a Con seemingly happy and reasonably healthy.

Besides the SUPERMAN movies (and the Smallville TV spinoff), Kidder was in such genre films as BLACK CHRISTMAS, THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD, AMITYVILLE HORROR, De Palma's SISTERS and much TV related fare.

Always, a lovely offbeat presence, Margot will be missed.

Sad to hear this, I always thought she was THE Lois Lane.
