Flash - a-ah - saviour of the universe
Flash - a-ah - he'll save everyone of us
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Flash - a-ah - he's a miracle
Flash - a-ah - king of the impossible

He's for everyone of us
Stand for everyone of us
He'll save with a mighty hand
Every man every woman
Every child - with a mighty flash

Flash - a-ah
Flash - a-ah - he'll save everyone of us

Just a man
With a man's courage
He knows nothing but a man
But he can never fail
No one but the pure in heart
May find the golden grail
Oh oh - oh oh
Flash

Not bad for a start.
The movie by looking out of date actually seems to have aged well (figure that one out.)
One of it's best lines is never heard because the sight of Prince Barin and Zarkov chained to the dungeon wall usually gets a big laugh.
Prince Barin, "Tell me more about this man Houdini."

It's still one of my all time favorite trailers though.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

Wow - even with this one addition, this SF is already up to a 70% better start than last year, which I consider near the bottom of recent SF movie selections !

Just hope they can get a good print - that Queen soundtrack can get very (i.e. 'even more') tedious with a lot of snap crackle pop

"Pathetic earthlings... Who can save you now?"

     And BTW, that movie sucks.
A lot.  But, to each his own, I guess.

I have seen the future, and it is sucky digital....

I remember MIT got hold of a really nice print of it about three years ago for their annual LSC sci-fi marathon. Hopefully that's still out there somewhere.

Went over great with the crowd there too!

FLASH GORDON wasn't booked because it's a "good" film, but, because it's a fun one.

Not only fun, but one that the audience can get into. Lots of audience participation.

Well, sorry to come across as the wet blanket here, but given a choice between the "fun" of watching Flash Gordon again & the "fun" of getting a root canal done with no anesthetic, I really would choose the latter as the less painful experience.
Yes, I really dislike that movie that much!  Tongue

You are in luck!! We have arranged for a dentist to be in the projection booth available to give out Root Canals during the screening of FLASH GORDON at the Marathon!
