I've been trying to think of a few suggestions that would balance out classics with some newer stuff. Here's a couple.

For classics, there's Quatermass II (aka Enemy From Space), which as far as I can tell, has never played the marathon and is notable as an early 'body snatcher/alien mind control' style story. There's also Fantastic Voyage which is always fun and colorful and hasn't played the marathon in at least 20 years.

For more recent films, there's a few notable ones from last year, including The Artifice Girl, The Creator, Infinity Pool, and Godzilla Minus One, though I can imagine that last one might be trickier to book. I also think Jonathan Glazer's Under the Skin from 2013 might be a trippy, late-night selection and 2020's Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes is a really fun time travel comedy.

Krull hasn't been shown yet.  It might make a good late night movie.

svengoolie said that the sets were all designed and built for a 3d movie. when the day of shooting arrived, they could not get a 3d camera. they shot 2d and the result is not altogether unpleasant or detracted.

What movie are you referring to?

Official Boston Sci-Fi podcast about the writing of the book to commemorate 50 years of the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival & Marathon.

Stay tuned to the very end. There's a clip reel that could be giving hints of films to be shown this year?
