John Saxon, longtime character actor with a long list of Sci-Fi related films on his resume has passed. Saxon appeared in everthing from QUEEN OF BLOOD and BLOOD BEAST FROM OUTER SPACE in the 60s, to the Gene Roddenberry pilots Planet Earth & Strange New World in the 70s, to NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS in the 80s to more recent efforts like THE ARRIVAL. His most famous role may be in Bruce Lee's ENTER THE DRAGON.

BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS played twice at the Marathon back in the Orson Welles days.

On a personal level, I got to work with John on DEATH HOUSE (1988) aka Zombie Death House.

RIP
