Sadly, only a week out from the 'thon, we have our first big name for the In Memorium segment, BILL PAXTON.

Paxton's most famous genre role was, of course, in ALIENS. But, he was also in EDGE OF TOMORROW, THE TERMINATOR, PREDATOR 2 plus some early efforts like IMPULSE (an underrated flick), GALAXY OF TERROR and WEIRD SCIENCE. And, he did SHIELD on TV and other roles.

He was usually a very understated actor who's solid work often got overlooked by flashier co-stars. And, 61. Way too young.

Sad to hear this, he was a great actor who didn't get nearly the attention that other stars got.
