GUNNAR HANSEN, most famous for playing leatherface in TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE has passed on.

RIP, Gunnar. I had the pleasure many years ago of working with Hansen on the infamous HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS where he had a small but significant part as the leader of an ancient chainsaw worshipping cult. Despite his hulking fearsome image from his most famous role, Gunnar was an articulate and gentle man (heck, I had to start up the chainsaw FOR him!!!).

Hansen had parts trading in on his Leatherface image for many years afterwards, but, he was mainly a writer, who was living in Maine upon his passing.
