The creator of the Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream horror franchises has passed away.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

Rarely has a director had such a kick in the teeth debut as Craven's LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. And, how many horror filmmakers had THREE such iconic titles, as he added NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and SCREAM to his resume. Lots of other movies of various quality and import, but, that's quite an impactful trio.
