Best known as a pro wrestler of course, Piper also starred in 2 solid cult sci-fi action films. John Capenter's "They Live" (1986) and the lesser known but well regarded "Hell Comes To Frogtown" (1986).
He passed away today from cardiac arrest.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

I worked with Roddy for several weeks on HELL COMES TO FROGTOWN. Despite his showy WWF persona, I can attest that he took his work seriously as an actor, hired an acting coach, and gave it his all. To me, and the crew, he was always a gentleman.

I am saddened to hear of his passing. R.I.P. Roddy.
