JAMES HORNER, most famous for TITANIC has passed. I caught the Horner bug pretty early on with BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS, WOLFEN and STAR TREK II. By ALIENS in 1986, he already was one of the tops in the industry. Many more genre items followed including KRULL, SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, BRAINSTORM, COCOON, WILLOW, HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS, THE ROCKETEER, AVATAR, SPIDER-MAN and more. And, he was so prolific, there are at least three more scores for films that haven't been released.

Our ears will never be the same. R.I.P.
