Paul Mazursky, one of the more important writer directors of the 70s and 80s has passed on.

BOB & CAROL, TED & ALICE, NEXT STOP GREENWICH VILLAGE, BLUME IN LOVE, HARRY & TONTO, AN UNMARRIED WOMAN, MOSCOW ON THE HUDSON, ENEMIES A LOVE STORY etc. He had a great great run. One of the keenest observers of relationships of his era.

I got to see him speak introducing his THE PICKLE back in 1993. It's about a director who 'sells out' and makes a campy sci-fi movie about a giant pickle from outer space. Sadly, not one of his best. He also was an actor and appeared in three Twilight Zone episodes and was one of the co-creators of The Monkees.

R.I.P.
