Here's a rare color pic of the famous Gojira costume:

...

Speaking of costumes: I, for one, hope that this year's costume contest gets some sort of boost. The amazing Comic-Con costumes made it what it is today. Clever costumes are some of the best promotion tools out there! Smiley

Keep an eye out for a strange breaking-the-fourth-wall type of scene pertaining to the score.  Also, this movie is loaded with a terrific number of familiar movie faces.

I bring you peace. It may be the peace of plenty and content or the peace of unburied death.

As compared to previous years, the SF board has been downright civil this year. No merciless rants from anybody concerning the films, schedule, etc.!

It looks like we have a lot of visitors and some new members, so chime in. When you're here your family.

...

I wonder how many father-daughter teams will show up this year? Wink

Happy birthday Jules Verne (1828-1905)

His death in 1905 hasn't prevented him from making numerous Marathon appearances!

Wheat Chex?
Rice Chex?
Even Corn, Bran & Sugar Chex?
Bah, meet the one Chex to rule them all.

WASABI CHEX!

...

I joked about this flavor on Facebook when someone asked about our traditional Chex chant.
Damn if they didn't turn out to actually exist.

A spicy part of a truly unbalanced breakfast.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

SF-39 was a great year for eyestrain and sleep deprivation! I didn't even bring a neck pillow knowing that, regardless of the order, there was no nap movie. I wanted to see all the films on the big screen for what may be my only chance ever, so Mrs. F had to put up with a changed man for awhile.

I'm all better now. I wish you all speedy recoveries. Wink

Thars only two possibilities:Thar is life out there in the universe which is smarter than we are,or we're the most intelligent life in the universe.Either way, it's a mighty sobering thought-WaltKelly
