Remember the "Queen of Outer Space" contest? I liked it but I guess there were different perspectives on beauty.

Make sure that David checks the film cans carefully...
Wouldn't want to show the wrong one.

Thars only two possibilities:Thar is life out there in the universe which is smarter than we are,or we're the most intelligent life in the universe.Either way, it's a mighty sobering thought-WaltKelly

FLESH! A-AH!!!

There is an R-Rated version of FLESH GORDON which played the Drive-Ins for years. And, it's not that bad, with some effects by folks who went to work on CLOSE ENCOUNTERS, STAR WARS etc.

Whatever you do, DON'T bother with the sequel FLASH GORDON AND THE COSMIC CHEERLEADERS. Utterly worthless cash-in on the '74 film.

Flash was actually rated X when it was first released. Even the X version was not all that graphic as the hardcore stuff never made it to the cinemas, it was all excised. Even the restored, uncensored version does not include the hardcore stuff as it was turned over to the LA Vice Squad.  It is a pretty decent send up of the Buster Crabbe serial with some nice stop motion animation.

I bring you peace. It may be the peace of plenty and content or the peace of unburied death.
