Frankenstein is in production....fourteen times over!
Rumor has it that one of these will feature Daniel Radcliffe reprising Bela Lugosi's (or Marty Feldman's) role as Igor.

I always thought that after the sparkly vampire and fuzzy wolfman installments of "Twilight", Kristen Stewart should have moved on to the next major member of the Universal Monster club...

Since the play ended its run and there are no plans to put out a dvd of it, I keep hoping Danny Boyle will make a film version of the National Theatre production he directed with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller. That is probably the best adaptation of the book I've ever seen, though I'm not entirely sure which actor should play Frankenstein and which should play the creature.

Heck, just put the ones they broadcast out on Blu-ray.  I'm still ticked that I only managed to see Cumberbatch as Victor and Miller as the Creature.

Also, I can't help but imagine that reuniting them for a film version would involve Sherlock Holmes-related hostility.
