One of his more memorable performances was as the Russian translator in Failsafe.

I have to 'confess' I watched a lot of I DREAM OF JEANNIE back as a kid. It was the space age and a show about an astronaut was pretty cool! Not to mention it was a fantasy series and his character name was Anthony! Later on, I also started to appreciate Barbara Eden - even if sans belly button!  Wink

Of course, Hagman's biggest role (and the one he was still playing when he passed) was on DALLAS. Not my cup of tea, but, it was nice to see Hagman get a second hit series - something most actors never quite achieve.

Between his two big hit programs, Hagman had a rather fallow period. He directed and had a goofy bit part as a bum in the very low budget sequel to THE BLOB - SON OF BLOB (aka: BEWARE: THE BLOB) [which has never been at the Marathon]. Hagman's only Marathon appearance was a small part in SUPERMAN THE MOVIE as an Army Major (he got the part on DALLAS right afterward).

R.I.P. Major Anthony Nelson.
