What would you like to see at sf 47. I’ld like to see an anime feature, silent and foreign film scheduled.

I'd love to see The Blood of Heroes on the big screen!

Come for Rutgar Hauer and Joan Chen, stay for the screenplay written by David Peoples (Blade Runner, Unforgiven).

This isn't a suggestion for a specific film, but a meta structure:  one movie per decade (one from the 1920's, one from the '30's, etc) for a total of eleven movies from 1920 to 2021.

It's always a goal to have a good variety of time periods. I agree.

I recall our old standard being 13 or 14 films.
Less filler, shorter breaks, more movies!

Not really the breaks and 'filler' as much as movies are just getting longer and longer. Crikey, the lame new DONT LOOK UP is over 145 minutes. Easily could have been 90

I haven't checked it with a stop watch, but that's not what it feels like from the back of the house. And I liked Don't Look Up, not that that has anything to do with anything.
