English Actress Kate O'Mara has passed on. She has never played the Marathon but she could have. Her sci-fi credits include "Dr. Who" (1985-87), "Carnage" (1968) with Peter Cushing, with whom she would be reunited in Hammer's 1970 "The Horror of Frankenstein".
She also worked for Hammer Films on "The Vampire Lovers" the same year among her 62 films and television apperarances between 1957 and 2012. :-/
