Was the MST3K special new material, or just re-runs?

And, why the #$#$ isn't MST3K in regular re-runs anyway? I wonder if it has to do with the rights to the movies they show.

That's for sure! It's been YEARS and YEARS since AMC showed cool movies like that! Now, it's all recent crap and new TV shows.........
