RICHARD SARAFIAN, director of VANISHING POINT, A MAN CALLED CAT-DANCING and such classic TV as the "Living Doll" episode of Twilight Zone, R.I.P.. He was also and actor and friend to many within the industry including myself. I got to know Richard as well as his sons Tedi and Deran and Richard over the years. A fine filmmaking family.
Sarafian's genre credits include that Twilight Zone episode along with Wild Wild West and the 60s Batman. He also directed the feature, SOLAR CRISIS, taking his name off the picture when it was re-cut. Sarafian was also an actor, most notably in BUGSY and BULLWORTH.
