Title: Worst sci-fi films ever?
Post by R_F_Fineman on Apr 4th, 2012 at 11:35am
i09 created a 64 film showdown in the style of NCAA basketball's March Madness. It ranked sci-fi films, old and new, and put them to the vote. You could expect 15 ranked "Plan-9 from Outer Space" to fall to #2 ranked "The Happening" which in turn went down to "Pluto Nash". The championship matchup? ....."Battlefield Earth" vs. "Catwoman". :o

To see the brackets:

I take it that to be ranked the films had to be famous domestic duds. As we know all too well, foreign contenders like "Demonlover" and obscure films like "Niagrivation" could give these duds a run for their money.

this is wrong!! battlefield earth is not a bad movie. it doesn't deserve to be on the list. is star trek 1 on the list? is tron legacy on there?
