Discount Godzilla because that is not the version we have seen.  TMC is showing the Raymond Burr American version and that is substantially different than the Japanese version.

Also, if you remove the Welles years, it's a sad number.  Most of these were shown in the first 11 years.

Just that I can remember:
Them!
Riders to the Stars (The Scoop is coming!)
Queen of Outer Space
The Illustrated Man

I think also Giant Behemoth and possibly Red Planet Mars but I might be thinking of another Mars movie. Or maybe that is just what the MLO wants me to think.

Letterbox Format has been on my short list for years. Are any prints still in existence?

Those 6 are correct. I also still credit GODZILLA even though the Japanese version (which we've shown twice; the first time we showed it back in the 80s was one of the very first in America) is much more complete than the infamous 'Raymond Burr' U.S. edit.

Any others, folks????

You ask what from the leist has played at the marathon.  That version of Godzilla has never (thankfully) played the marathon.... No credit for you.  Maybe partial credit.  Throw in H-Man.

This 1978 Italian sci-fi, er, uh, film bears a striking resemblance to...a whole lot of other Italian sci-fi films. Watch it streaming in its entirety for free. You can walk out any time.

"War of The Robots"

From the Internet Archives:

Quote:
From the makers of "Cosmos: War of the Planets" and "Star Odyssey" comes another craptastic Italian Star Wars ripoff!

Saw that. Note: Honda did not direct HAUSU (HOUSE). I wonder which version of GODZILLA they are playing?

Title: TCM December 21: End of the World Movies
Post by Frank on Dec 18th, 2012 at 3:46pm
In anticipation of our last day, TCM will be showing a number of science fiction films on December 21st.

7:00 AM Lost Missile, The (1958) Starring Robert Loggia. An alien missle appears in space.  Attempting to knock it down, a foreign power only succeeds in changing the missle's path and putting it in orbit around the earth where is leaves a path of destruction in its' wake.  This was a very difficult movie to find until a few years ago.
8:30 AM  Satan Bug, The (1965)   An interesting spy thriller from the 60's based on an Alistair MacLean novel, screnplay by James Clavell and directed By John Sturges.  A germ warfare lab has had an "accident".  It is quickly learned that there has been a theft of biological weapons one of which is capable of destroying all life on earth.
10:30 AM Last Man On Earth, The (1964)   One of several versions of the novel I Am Legend.  Vincent Price as the titular character fighting the plague created vampires.
12:00 PM Bed Sitting Room, The (1969)   Loony, off-the-wall British comedy about what folks do after the end of the world.  Directed by Richard Lester.  Featuring the comedy stylings of Moore and Cook.
2:00 PM Five (1951) post-apocalyptic science fiction film produced, directed and written by Arch Oboler. The title refers to the number of survivors of an atomic bomb disaster that wipes out the rest of the human race.  The film is very low budget but an interesting story of survival.  The house in the film was Obler's house and was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.  Reportedly, the first post apocalyptic film.
4:00 PM Panic in Year Zero (1962) Directed and starring Ray Milland.  This is the story of the Baldwin family whose camping trip is put on hold due to a nuclear war.  It's a fairly grim portrait of humanity.
6:00 PM World, The Flesh, And The Devil, The (1959)  Harry Belafonte plays a miner who gets trapped in a small cave-in. He digs his way out to find every living soul on earth has vanished; that is until he discovers Inger Stevens.  The two form a bond until a third man enters the picture. Lots of sexual tensions and race issues.

Some of these have played the thon.  Name them.
