Hello all,

There is a new registration process for theBoard. It was added to cut down on the number of fake/spam accounts that are created (between 30-50 per day). You'll notice a few new questions appearing on the registration screen and in your profiles.

The new information is: Your first name, Your last name, and How much is 8 * 2

While this won't affect you much, the answer to 8*2 defaults to 12... You may see that come up in your profile. Feel free to change it if you want.

To change any information in your profile to go the "My account" tab, then "Profile" and "Edit Profile". You will be asked to confirm your password.

It looks like various spammers, online marketers, and other cyber-riff-raff are still getting in.

More times than not, when I log in the board reports that there's some "robot" online no doubt bent on mayhem! :o

I've been trying to update my profile info and add an avatar, but every time I go to save my new info the system tells me I'm a spammer and reverts back to the old info.
What's the secret to making this process work?

Caleb, you could change your profile name to "Discount_Viagra" Users with names like that get on pretty often. ;)

Seriously though, did you remember to answer the math question? I made that mistake the first time I tried.
